She meets this guy who acts like he's the owner of some club, but really he is just a cook there. She hands him her tape, but when she finds who he really is she leaves and continues trying to give agencies the tapes, but they tell her that they have to be copyrighted first and such before they will consider them. She's striking out. In the meantime, the only place she can record is on her rooftop. She found her apartment was broken into and the money her friend had stashed away was stolen as well. She was forced to get a job.
